Question: Q: Music on Mac app keeps crashing for me I am basically unable to use my music application on my macbook pro, because every time I try to play a song, it will play about 30-55 seconds of the song and then the entire app will crash. Webex network recording editor for mac.

- On your Mac, open the Finder and go to /Library/Saved Application State/. Once you're inside the folder, locate the file named ‘ com.apple.mail.savedState '. Lastly, move the file to the Trash to remove it from your system. Now, open the Mail app to see if you would be able to use the app without crashing.
Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities. After reading your issue, I understand that your Music app is not behaving as expected since returning to iOS 9.3.4--while you can see your albums, if you try to play a track from them or try to view your playlists, the app itself will unexpectedly quit. I listen to music from my iPhone every day, and would be lost without it; I'm happy to help!
Try the following steps in order, stopping once the issue has been resolved.

- Force quit the app, if it's open. If you're not sure how to do that, check out this article: Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Once the app has been quit, tap on its icon again to open it, and attempt to play some music. - Restart your iPhone, then try opening the Music app and playing music. You can get instructions on restarting here: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
- Remove your synced content from the iPhone, then sync with iTunes again. You can get instructions on how to do both in the following article: Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer using USB
Use the 'Turn off syncing in iTunes' section to remove your content from your iPhone, then the 'Sync your content with iTunes' section to sync it again. Once you've done this, open the Music app on your iPhone and try to play some music. - Reset your iPhone's settings under Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. This will revert customizable settings (like your wallpaper and screen brightness, ringtones and alert sounds, and Date & Time settings) back to their factory defaults. It will also remove any saved Wi-Fi networks and passwords, as well as previously used VPN or APN settings. Try playing music from your Music app.
- Back up your iPhone, and restore it to factory settings using iTunes. You can backup using either iCloud or iTunes, following the steps in this article: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Once you've done that, the following article will help you to restore your iPhone: Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings
After restoring to factory settings, set the iPhone up as a new device (meaning without restoring your backup, at least temporarily). You can sign into iCloud, iMessage and FaceTime, and the iTunes and App Stores using your Apple ID. Then, sync your music using iTunes and test to see if any songs play in the Music app. - If the music plays without issue after setting up as a new device, you can restore your backup using the instructions in this article: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup
After restoring your backup, you may need to sync your music again. Once that's done, test whether your songs play in the Music app. If they played after setting the device up as new, but do not once you restore your backup, you should go through the restore process again and set up as a new device permanently.
